My research in image analysis and machine learning covers a broad range of applications: remote sensing, sonar imaging, medical image analysis, seismic image analysis and analysis of petrophysical images. Within remote sensing I have worked with data fusion, SAR image analysis, and hyperspectral image classification for different applications.
More examples of applications are statistical classification of SAR images of land areas and sea ice, oil spill detection in SAR images, speckle filtering of SAR images, texture analysis of SAR images, optical images, seabed classification from sonar data, sandstone images and 3D seismic data, snow classification in multipolarization SAR images, tissue classification in MR images, multisensor classification of optical images, SAR images and GIS-data
