Academic interests
My overall research interest are comprehension of reaction mechanism and interaction within multi-functionnal system alongside determination of active site nature using catalytic testing and operando/in-situ spectroscopic analysis.
Nowaday I focus on Methanol To Olefins (MTO) and Methanol To Hydrocarbon (MTH) alongside coupled Methanol synthesis and MTO reaction with mixture of oxides and zeotypes.
Background
I did a Post-Doctoral position in University of WATERLOO with Associate Professor Rodney SMITH where I started a project with an industrial collaborator. My work consisted mainly on laying out the base research necessary for the collaboration and assembly a dedicated test bench.
Defended my PhD in chemistry at IRCELYON in 2022 (Institute for Research on Catalysis and Environment), supervised by research director LORIDANT Stephane and research director AFANASIEV Pavel, on the Role of intimacy in bifunctional catalysts for the production of light olefins: application to the Ox-Zeo process. During my PhD I focused on unraveling the impact of distance and contact density, two main component of intimacy, on bifunctionnal catalyst such as MnO-SAPO-34 for syngas conversion to light olefins.
