Academic interests

  • Heterogeneous catalysis
  • Solid porous materials
  • Organometallic chemistry

I am currently a PhD research candidate working within heterogenous catalysis. My research focuses on the design of MOF-based single-atom catalysts. The project entails material synthesis, characterisation, and catalytic testing, and the use of PXRD, NMR, TGA, ATR-IR, SEM-EDX, XAS, and INS. The research is carried out at the Section for Catalysis.

Courses taught

  • KJM1101: General Chemistry
  • KJM1111: Organic Chemistry I
  • KJM2500: Synthesis and Characterisation

Background

  • 02.10.2023 - PhD research candidate at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo
  • 2021 - 2023 - MSc. in Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo
  • 2018 - 2021 - BSc. in Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo

I have completed my BSc in Chemistry and MSc in Organic Chemistry at UiO, and conducted my MSc thesis project working on Au(III) complexes for asymmetric catalysis.
