Academic interests
I am interested in various aspects of quantum mechanics, especially when it comes to the time evolution of many-body systems. I am particularly interested in numerical methods that can be used to solve problems in many-body quantum mechanics, with a particular focus on time evolution. I am interested in optimization problems and machine learning.
My main interests are:
- Numerical methods to solve the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for many-body systems
- Machine Learning
- Numerical optimization
- Quantum computing
- Coupled Cluster theory
Courses taught
I was a teaching assistant from 2022 to 2025, teaching quantum chemistry (KJM2601/KJM5600) and physical chemistry (KJM4310) and multi-scale molecular modeling (KJM5631).
Background
I have a master's degree in Computational Science: Chemistry from the University of Oslo. I wrote my master's thesis about Eigenvector Continuation in quantum chemistry, focusing particularly on CC-theory and quantum computing.
Prizes
Prize for the best master thesis at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo, 2022.
