Background
I work as a senior lecturer at the research section for chemistry education. I am a trained teacher of science and mathematics from Oslo University College and I hold a master's degree in chemistry from the University of Oslo.
Academic interests
My areas of interest include chemical safety, green chemistry in teaching, students’ conceptions of chemical bonding and the structure of substances, students’ learning from practical work in chemistry education, and the use of analytical instruments in school chemistry.
Teaching
I mainly teach courses that are tailored specially for the teacher trainer program, and courses for in-service teachers. I also teach chemical labeling for the master students at the Department of Chemistry.
