Dean election at The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
Dean Election for the Period 2025 - 2028
In the spring of 2024, a deanery was elected for the period 1st January 2025 – 31st December 2028.
By the nomination deadline on 2nd April 2024, only one proposal for a deanery team was submitted. In cases where there is only one proposal, no ordinary election is held according to the University of Oslo's election regulations (§ 26, point 2). The election is then carried out by the current faculty board. The proposed deanery is considered elected if it receives a majority in the faculty board.
The proposal for Dean Solveig Kristensen with Research Dean Bjørn Jamtveit and Education Dean Knut Mørken for the period 2025-2028 was unanimously approved by the current faculty board on April 17, 2024.
