LATICE-GeoHyd joint seminar

LATICE is pleased to host Prof. Richard Essery from University of Edinburgh for a seminar entitled "Tundra and glacier snow modelling" on September 5th, 2025. This seminar will also be the first GeoHyd lunch seminar for the fall semester.

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Richard Essery from University of Edinburgh, School of Geosciences for a seminar on "Tundra and glacier snow modelling".

Prof. Richard Essery is an expert in snow hydrology, micrometeorology, and land–atmosphere interactions, and has extensive experience developing models to understand how snow influences water resources, energy balance, and climate feedbacks. In this talk, he will discuss recent advances in modeling snow dynamics in tundra and glacier environments.

Please feel free to share this event with all interested students and researchers.
