Title:  Towards data-driven regional weather forecasting

Ass. Professor Nicolas Valiente Parra will give a seminar on: Microbial metabolism: the central force driving greenhouse gas emissions in lakes.

This talk explores how microbial metabolism regulates greenhouse gas emissions in lakes, highlighting its central role in carbon and nitrogen cycling across northern ecosystems. By connecting microbial-scale processes to ecosystem-level, the work directly contributes to CBA’s mission of understanding and predicting climate change feedbacks.
