Egil Hylleraas credited with first use of the word "kvantekjemi" in Norwegian dictionary

The online dictionary Det Norske Akademis ordbok (NAOB) includes the entry “kvantekjemi” with a quotation of Egil A. Hylleraas

The NOAB article on "kvantekjemi" closes with a quotation from a lecture given by Egil A. Hylleraas in Bergen 1933: “There now exists far-reaching opportunities for establishing a theoretical chemistry, a quantum chemistry, on the same footing as the physical quantum theory" (translation from Norwegian).

The field of quantum chemistry was born in 1927 with the work of Heitler and London on the hydrogen molecule (Z. Phys. 44, 455 (1927)). The first known use of the term "quantum chemistry" ("Quantenchemie") is by Arthur Hase in 1929, in a lecture series "Die Grundlagen der Quantenchemie. Eine Einleitung in vier Vorträgen" to the Viennese Chemical–Physical Association (Akademische Verlagsgesellschaft, Leipzig,1929).
