Deputy directory of the Hylleraas Centre, Kenneth Ruud, was recently elected as the new vice president and leader of the Natural Sciences Division of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters for the period 2020-2022.

July 11-17 2019, the Hylleraas Centre organised the 10th Congress of the International Society of Theoretical Chemical Physics in Tromsø. With 545 registered participants, it was one of the largest conferences in this conference series.
