Dr. Olsen was one of only 15 young investigators out of 199 applications that received this grant. Dr. Olsen will establish his research group at Aarhus University, starting from summer 2020.
At the Hylleraas centre, Dr. Olsen has been involved in the development of multiscale models. This includes the development of the MiMiC framework for multiscale modeling in in computational chemistry, as well as the development of novel polarisable embedding and polarisable density embedding techniques for spectroscopic applications.
