I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and a Master's Degree in Advanced Studies in Chemistry from the University of Seville, Spain, where I focused on synthesizing copper and nickel complexes active in alcohol oxidation.

I then earned my Ph.D. with a cum laude distinction from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, working on aluminum and zinc complexes for cyclic carbonate and polyether synthesis using CO₂. After gaining industry experience with Eurotex and Eurofins Villapharma, I returned to academia with a postdoctoral position at the University of Zaragoza, where I developed iridium complexes for organic light-emitting diodes.

I also held a Margarita Salas Fellowship to work on Transition Metal-Only Frustrated Lewis Pairs and small molecule activation in Prof. Jesús Campos' group.

Alongside my research, I recently completed a Master's Degree in Teacher Training.

Currently, I am pursuing a DSTrain MSCA fellowship at the University of Oslo, focusing on applying data science to chemistry with my project #CO2FLAMEL.

Started as a postdoctoral researcher 23rd September 2024 with supervisor Res. Prof. David Balcells.
