About Gautam Jha:
Gautam did his PhD on semi-empirical relativistic method development in TU Dresden in 2024 with Prof. Dr. Thomas Heine. Later, he joined Los Alamos National Lab as a postdoc in the T-Division, working on machine learning-augmented Tight Binding potentials.
Moreover, he is also interested in the applications of 2d vdW materials and actinide based materials. At the Hylleraas Centre, he will work with PI Erik Tellgren on projects related to RT34, focusing on development of current-density functional theory and kinetic energy-dependent functionals.
