New Postdoctoral Fellow: Mauricio Portiolli Franco

We’re pleased to welcome Mauricio Portiolli Franco, who has joined the Hylleraas Centre in Oslo as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He will be working under the supervision of Ainara Nova in her research group.

He will work on the DStrain project “Data-driven design of heterogenized electrocatalysts for the reduction of CO₂ to C₂ products,” in which computational methods and machine learning approaches will be combined to determine structure-reactivity relationships that guide the rational design of efficient and selective electrocatalysts for CO₂conversion.

Mauricio starts his position at the Hylleraas Centre 1 th October 2025 for three years.
