Jordan received his PhD from the University of Lyon in 2024. During his PhD, he investigated the dynamic structure of organozinc reagents in solution using a complementary static/dynamic computational approach.
After completing his PhD in Computational Chemistry, he moved to LCT in Paris to begin his first postdoctoral fellowship, exploring the formation and reactivity of nickelate/cation pairs in catalysis.
In his postdoctoral research at the Hylleraas Centre, he will examine the impact of various environmental factors, such as solvent, salt and aggregation state, on the speciation and activation of transition-metal pre-catalysts in solution. To achieve this, he will use advanced molecular dynamics methods such as deep potentials.
- Employment: 01 April 2026 for 3 years at Hylleraas Centre, node UiO. Office C-204
- Collaboratiuon with Michele Cascella, Ainara Nova and David Balcells.
Welcome to the team, Jordan!
