Matteo Orlandi:

- I am a theoretical and Computational Chemist, and my research is focused on the QM/MM modelling of complex metallo-bio systems, non-equilibrium thermodynamics of host-guest systems to drive drug discovery projects and the development of accurate classical Force Fields.

 - At Hylleraas Centre for Quantum Molecular Sciences, I am developing a differentiable Molecule Dynamics code (Diff-aMD) in prof. Cascellaìs group , which might find suitable employment in automatic Force Field reparameterization.

  • Supervisor: Professor Michele Cascella.
  • Stay: 3 February - 3 June 2026.
  • Office: V208, Hylleraas Centre, Oslo.

Welcome, Matteo!
