New visitor: Dr. Raunak Farhaz

Raunak is visiting the Hylleraas center in Oslo. While visiting, he will be working with Erik Tellgren and Trygve Helgaker on exotic chemical bonding in strong magnetic fields.

Raunak is visiting the Hylleraas center from August 13 to August 25.

During 2026, Raunak completed his PhD thesis at the Humboldt University of Berlin. The thesis topic was multiresolution analysis methods for molecules in strong magnetic fields, making it natural to visit the Oslo node of the Hylleraas center where related research on strong magnetic field chemistry is a long standing theme.

Previously, in October and November of 2023, he also visited the Tromsø node of the center, where multiresolution analysis is a long-standing research interest.
