Background

I am a postdoctoral researcher studying the fish immune system with relevance for aquaculture. Using the zebrafish model and advanced light-sheet microscopy, I focus on the organization and function of immune tissues. Although many aspects of fish immunity are already well understood, recent findings suggest that there may be additional, overlooked structures and mechanisms. My research aims to shed light on these and to provide knowledge that could support the development of more effective vaccines and disease-prevention strategies in aquaculture.
