I am a Ph.D. student in computational neuroscience. I am part of the Cinpla group, which focuses on experimental neuroscience, as well as the BioAI group for bio-inspired AI.

My main project centers on spatial navigation, memory, and neuromodulation. Specifically, I am focused on modeling hippocampal (CA1) cognitive maps (mainly place cells), and understanding how their are formed and exploited by agents for producing effective behavior. Additionally, I am studying the role neuromodulators like dopamine and acetylcholine play in hippocampal dynamics, particularly in relation to learning and attention.

My other research interests include artificial life, neuro-evolution, causal inference, and computational linguistics.
