Academic interests
I am a researcher in molecular biology and bioinformatics, with a focus on translation regulation and ribosome profiling. My work aims to uncover and characterize overlooked translated regions in genomes, including upstream open reading frames and other regulatory translons, as well as to study the microproteins and peptides they may encode. I also develop computational tools such as RiboCrypt and RiboSeq.Org for analysing translation.
