Research stations and vessels

The Department of Biosciences at the University of Oslo currently has one research vessel based in the Oslofjord, F/F Trygve Braarud (70').

Finse Alpine Research Center, located in the northwestern part of the Hardangervidda mountain plateau. Seminars and meetings, as well as university field courses, are regularly held in the conference unit.

The University of Oslo operates two facilities in Drøbak. Biologen, a biological research station, established in 1894, and Tollboden, a teaching and conference centre, established in 1860.
