The MBB section seeks to understand fundamental biological processes and their regulation at the molecular level.
Our research has important biomedical implications, from developing cancer treatments to addressing antibiotic resistance.We investigate a wide range of model systems, from bacteria to mammals, using approaches that include genetics and genomics, molecular and cell biology, bioinformatics, microbiology, biochemistry, proteomics, and structural biology. We also develop bioinformatics tools and methods to support and advance research in these areas.
