Our group is interested in tumor-host biology and cellular mechanisms of cancer progression. As model systems we use the animal models; Drosophila melanogaster and human organoid-like cell culture. I will discuss recent findings uncovering tumor microenvironment support of tumor growth and invasion through autophagy.
