The ever increasing versatility and throughput of -seq technologies have led to a surge of private and public genome-scale datasets. A myriad of -omic features can in this way be represented as coordinates on a reference genome, allowing expected or unexpected relations between biological mechanisms to be quantified. Also, as sequencing cost has continued to decline, studies are increasingly considering cell-specificity of signals, improving but also increasing the complexity of computational analysis.
I will in this presentation discuss opportunities and challenges of analyzing datasets of reference genome coordinates. I will also present the GSuite HyperBrowser, which provides a web-based interface to advanced genome analysis methodology. It allows streamlined acquisition and efficient handling of large collections of genomic datasets, and offers a variety of transparent and reproducible statistical analyses.
