Marius Øgaard and Kremena Tosheva, Oslotech

Kremena will give a presentation about the Cutting Edge Festival. Marius Øgaard will give a talk about Oslotech, Oslo Science Park, and The Life Science Cluster.

1)      Kremena Tosheva holds a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and innovation from The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Oslo and Akershus University College. She has international experience from living abroad in the USA attending the award winning Norwegian Entrepreneurship Programme (Gründerskolen). Throughout her studies at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, she has been writing business plans, delved into business development, industrial property rights, strategy and marketing among other subjects, as well as doing hands-on research on the learning outcomes of incubators and accelerator programs for entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, Kremena has work experience from non-profit organisational work and student politics, mentoring first year master students in Entrepreneurship and innovation and marketing her own master’s program.
Today her main responsibly is managing the Cutting Edge festival on behalf of Oslotech, University of Oslo and Inven2. The Cutting Edge festival is Norways largest interdisiplinary jam session for scientist, technologist, entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers with over 1400 participants.
 
2)    Marius Øgaard, Director Innovation Oslotech
Solid background in research and advanced technology and product development from the ICT industry. Experienced within sales, development of new markets, and business development. Broad experience in international business (Western Europe, Asia/Pacific, Middle East, North-, and South America).
Has worked with projects for innovation, entrepreneurship and industry cluster development since 2009. Initiator and founder of The Life Science Cluster, the Cutting Edge Festival, the Build2Grow entrepreneurship programme, and the Science for Society entrepreneurship programme. Co-founder of Oslo Medtech. Initiator and editor of BioVerdi, a report on the future of the Norwegian bioeconomy.
Specialties: Industry clusters and networks, wireless and satellite communications, science & technology, business development and international sales. Certified Ideastronaut (!)
