EVOGENE Seminar: Flash presentations of new masters projects fall 2018

Mathias Andreasen, Hengyi Zhu, Eivind Kverme Ronold, Nick Honkoop and Åshild Fandango Kapperud are all fairly fresh master students that will present their projects in a flash Monday 3rd of December.

Mathias Andreasen from Oslo Mycology Group (OMG) in collaboration with NINA will give a short talk entitled "Lophiostoma (Lophiostomataceae, Pleosporales, Dothideomycetes) in Norway; a taxonomic and phylogenetic study of an ascomycete genus".

Hengyi Zhu from the Morphoplex group will present her project entitled "Identification and functional characterisation of microRNAs in Ichthyosporea".

Eivind Kverme Ronold from OMG will give a talk entitled "Does a different mycobiont community in alpine and lowland soils affect fungal recruitment in birch roots?".

Nick Honkoop from the Butenko Group will present his project entitled "The role of BELL-KNOX complexes in the IDA-HAE/HSL2 Floral abscission signaling Pathway".

Åshild Fandango Kapperud from OMG and in collaboration with others, will give a short talk entitled "Effects of Ozone on Plants and Mycorrhiza -A shift from mutualism to parasitism?"
