Genomes of the early eukaryotes

We study orphan eukaryote lineages that represent the earliest branch points in the tree of life, and thereby keys to understand the early diversification of eukaryotes and for reconstruction genomic complexity of the early stages of eukaryote evolution. We study genomes by genome sequence and evolutionary bioinformatics approache. We are focusing on species related to Collodictyon, Breviata, Telonemia and Radiolaria.
