Election Head of department at IFI 2025-2028
Professor Ole Christian Lingjærde has been elected as the new head of the Department of Informatics for the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2028.
The election committee announces that, at the end of the deadline, only one candidate for the position of Head of Department has been nominated: Professor Ole Christian Lingjærde. The proposal has been submitted by more than 5 proponents.
This time, there will therefore not be a real election. According to UiO's election regulations § 26 point 2, the election will be carried out by the current department board since only one candidate proposal has been received by the deadline.
