The PhD defence will be partially digital, in Kristen Nygaards sal (5370), Ole Johan Dahls hus, and streamed directly using Zoom. The host of the session will moderate the technicalities while the chair of the defence will moderate the disputation.
Ex auditorio questions: the chair of the defence will invite the attending audience at Kristen Nygaards sal (5370), Ole Johan Dahls hus to ask ex auditorio questions.

Main research findings
Virtually every aspect of modern life involves a digital service, from listening to music or watching a show, to applying for a loan. In these services, the users' impressions and feedback are crucial for success. Due to the immediate effect on the users, the requirements on the quality and interpretability of service analysis are high. While manual service analysis techniques are highly efficient in revealing service improvements, they are also very labour-intensive. Digitalization in services is still growing and constantly adapting services at an unprecedented speed, their analysis can be accomplished best by automated techniques.
This thesis presents a data-driven formal method for user-centric service analysis. The presented method enables the automated construction of formal game-theoretic service models from recorded logs. Leveraging model checking results enables the detection of trends and changes, and optimization problems provide explanations for the outcome of the service by considering "what-if'' scenarios.
