Teacher seems well versed in the HCI field but I expected a more student oriented course page with concise information instead of receiving mail. It is HCI course after all.

We need a better book. Research Methods in HCI is very fuzzy and not to the point. The author is spending too time telling what not to do without describing the correct approach with enough detail.
Cool course! Fun to actually design and make a prototype of a product along with a company!
