Quotes:

[A lecturer] was exceptionally very good. All his lectures were very interesting and pleasing to follow. His practicals were also wonderful. [Another lecturerer] was exceptionally very good as well, I enjoyed his lectures, I appreciated the level of detail and scope he covered in his module; it was a nice a complete story to follow. His practicals were nice but because of disproportionate time allocated to the module compared to the content of the module (according to my opinion), the practicals were rather stressful. But since his pipeline/scripts are neatly prepared and well documented, it makes up for it.
Because the whole process of the course was quite intensive and it requires too much effort, I felt a lot of burden at the moment, but once I am done with the mandatory home assignment/exam I was very glad because I actually learned a great deal by sitting down and working on the home exam. It was stressful and exhausting but I suppose it is worth it.

On what was particularly good:

The diverse topics covered in separate modules.
Hands-on bash experience and script manipulation.
I think the proportion between theoretical teaching and practical tasks were well balanced. The use of active learning techniques during lectures was also very well applied and useful.

About the course evaluation

The course evaluation is done by students in FUI (Fagutvalget ved Institutt for informatikk), and is based on questionnaires made at the end of each semester.
