Oppsummering:

The general impression of this course was spread accross the entire scale, from Very good to Exceptionally bad. The respondents rated the level of difficulty for this course to be Difficult to Too difficult, with the workload described as Big and Too big. The majority of respondents described the quality of the lectures as mainly Very bad. The group lessons were evaluated as Exceptionally good and Very good. The group lessons were rated as Important to Very important for the students learning and understanding of the curriculum. The same was true for the group task work, though this was considered somewhat less important for learning. The mandatory assignments were regarded as Not important to Important to the respondents’ learning and understanding of the curriculum. The level of difficulty and amount of work required for the mandatory assignments was regarded as High and Too high. The number of mandatory assignments was deemed Appropriate. The difficulty of the final exam was regarded as High.

In general, the respondents found the course interesting. However, they highlighted that the mandatory assignments did not correspond well with the content in the lectures. Many of the respondents expressed a wish for more structure in lectures and more relevant mandatory assignments, as well as more guidance in lab work.
