Summary:

The general impression of the course ranged from Quite good to Very good, with emphasis on Very good. The students evaluated the courses difficulty level from Appropriate to Difficult, with emphasis on Appropriate. Regarding the amount of work required in relation to the number of credits the workload was rated Appropriate. The lecture quality was considered Very good. The number of mandatory assignments and difficulty level were both evaluated to Appropriate. The importance of the mandatory assignments for the respondents understanding and learning of the curriculum was evaluated from Important to Very important. The amount of work assosiated with the mandatory assignments were considered Appropriate. The difficulty level of the final exam was considered Low to Appropriate, with an emphasis on Appropriate.

The participants in the course thought the lectures were admirably structured and of very good quality. Several of the participants pointed out that the lecturer was engaging and an important part of understanding the core concepts of the course. The use of video lectures were pointed out as an important factor of learning for several students, hence the wish for including the information from the blackboard in the screencast was remarked by the marjority of the respondents. Some of the students requested more exercises during the semester, furthermore before the exam, considering there are no prior exams to examine.

It needs more exercises WITH solutions, and more exercises generally. Twice as many would be perfect. Would be nice if one could check you own solution. […]
