Summary:

The general impression of the course ranged from Quite good to Very good. Both the course difficulty and the work required in relation to credits was assessed as Appropriate. The quality of the lectures were evaluated by the respondants as Quite good to Very good. The difficulty level associated with the mandatory assignments was evaluated to Appropriate. The amount of work with the mandatory assignments was evaluated from Small to Large, with emphasis on Appropriate. The number of mandatory assignments was considered Appropriate. The importance of the mandatory assignments when it came to the understanding and learning of the curriculum was evaluated from Important to Very important.

The respondents were generelly very happy with the lectures, lecturer and the course overall. There were some collisions with other security-related courses. Majority of the respondents didn’t find Canvas to be a positive experience. Some respondents would have liked to se more use of reading material as a supplement for videos.

This course should not collide with other security-related courses. A steadier communication channel with the lecturer would be appreciated.

The lecturer was amazing. He was very engaged, and made every bit more interesting than it would be to study on my own. The content of the course was very relevant and had a strong connection between the modules. The way we were evaluated over the semester(Home assignments) were beautifully carried out. Going to see other students’ presentations was really nice. And the way the lecturer made us feel like stars during the presentations also helped.
