INF5571 - Action Research Workshop

Course level

Lectures and group tuition

While the lectures' relevance and usefulness in regard to relaying what you need to learn is evaluated as ok by the respondents, the quality of the lectures is rated as not that good. The course material is evaluated by most of the respondents as not that good. This also applies to what degree the curriculum and learning outcomes of the course is defined.

Mandatory assignments and final exam

Quotes

More group sessions/reading would be nice. Using the course page at the uio.no pages is in my opinion default for courses held at UiO. These are not utilized at all in this course which makes the course incredibly disorganized and messy. There is not information there(information was given in class and/or by mails(quite a few actually).
[…] I would like to have more obligatory assignments through the course to get feedback. I would also for example like to have more example cases we could solve to truly understand how to practice action research. We could get an example case where we come up with a proposal which we could deliver, and later we could go through a possible solution in plenary to get more insight to the topic.
