Strong user authentication is increasingly a requirement for login to private networks owned by organisations, where hardware tokens are often used. The OFFPAD is a modern token and authentication device which supports biometric authentication of users, NFC/Bluetooth communication with client terminals, and online authentication to private networks using the FIDO 2.0 protocol.
This project focuses on analysing solutions for identity management that can be supported by the OFFPAD device. This project is in collaboration with the Norwegian company Pone Biometrics which manufactures the OFFPAD device.
