Fra og med fredag 31 januar 2025 gjør vi endringer for ssh tilgang til login.ifi.uio.no
ssh tilgang til login.ifi.uio.no må etter denne datoen bruke jumphost login.uio.no.
Eksempel:
ssh -J bruker@login.uio.no bruker@login.ifi.uio.no
Tilgang med mosh må gå til login.uio.no først og deretter bruke ssh til login.ifi.uio.no
Dersom du bruker sftp, scp eller sshfs anbefaler vi bruk av sshfs.uio.no men vær klar over at dette krever bruk av nøkkelpar.

Bruk av VMWare Horison View og "ifi workstation" med videre ssh til login.ifi.uio en god mulighet for de som ønsker tilgang til login.ifi.uio.no utenfra UiO.

ssh access to login.ifi.uio.no must use jumphost login.uio.no after this date.
Example:
ssh -J user@login.uio.no user@login.ifi.uio.no
Access with mosh must go to login.uio.no first and then use ssh to login.ifi.uio.no
If you use sftp, scp or sshfs, we recommend using sshfs.uio.no but be aware that this requires the use of key pairs.

Using VMWare Horizon View and "ifi workstation" with further ssh to login.ifi.uio is a good option for those who want access to login.ifi.uio.no from outside UiO.
