Academic interests
Main interest in exotic effects and properties in oxide thin films; ferroics, superconductivity etc. My work is based on synthesis of such thin films using the ALD-technique (Atomic Layer Deposition), in addition to characterization of such structures. Involved in this is especially characterization of structures on epitaxial interfaces and surfaces, mainly using x-rays.
Structural characterization of such nanostructures demand high x-ray brilliance, and thus involved in the work is cooperation with synchrotron x-ray sources around the world, including ESRF (Grenoble) and APS (Chicago).
