Academic interests

My research interests are centered on the exploration and development of functional materials for energy storage, with a primary focus on solid-state hydrogen storage systems. I am particularly engaged in the synthesis and structural investigation of multicomponent high-entropy alloys (HEAs), which offer exceptional phase stability, configurational entropy-driven properties, and tunable thermodynamic behavior. These features make HEAs promising candidates for long-term hydrogen cycling applications and integration into next-generation fuel cell technologies.

My work involves advanced characterization techniques to probe crystallographic structure, microstructure evolution, and hydrogen–material interactions under varying thermodynamic conditions. I am also deeply interested in understanding the fundamental structure–property correlations in complex alloy systems and leveraging this knowledge to engineer materials with optimized energy functionality. More broadly, I am committed to interdisciplinary approaches that bridge condensed matter physics, materials chemistry, and sustainable energy research.
