Master agreement

Application for change of agreement

Faculty page with common information for master students

Master agreement

The deadline for supervisor to sign the agreement is normally December 1, but September 1 if you have completed 20 ECTS or more in advance.

Before handing in the agreement, you must have found a supervisor and written a project description in cooperation with your supervisor(s).

The agreement is digitally delivered by the student, who list all supervisors, who subsequently sign digitally on a separate form.

How to complete the master agreement form

Read the information in the form with care, and look through the whole form before starting to fill in your details. The form cannot be saved and completed later.

The master's thesis

You may only choose Long thesis.

Include a HSE declaration if your project might lead to physical injury. This must be completed in advance, and written in cooperation with your supervisor.

Progress plan and theoretical curriculum

Theoretical curriculum shall be exactly 60 ECTS, and the agreement cannot contain more or less. You may apply later to change the curriculum.

Supervision

All supervisors will receive a copy of the completed form, in addition to the uploaded project description and, if relevant, the HSE declaration. Other attachements will not be sent to the supervisors.

Make sure you have your supervisors correct email adress, and do inform them that you have filled in and submitted the form.

Attachments

Here you attach your project description, as well as documentation for your application for part time or absence of leave, if relevant.

Temporary thesis statement is the goal, research question, background and scope of the project.

If you apply for part time or absence of leave, you upload the documentation, and write a brief explanation in the comment field as to why you apply. Be aware that this text is visible to your supervisors.
