About the ecotoxicology group
In a changing climate and environment, we need to know more about how contaminants are distributed in ecosystem, how they accumulate in the food web, what kind of effects contaminants have on both individuals and populations, and how climate may affect all this. Our work include disciplines such as ecotoxicology, marine biology, food web ecology, population ecology, evolutionary life history and biogeochemistry. Ecosystems of interest are Polar Regions, large lakes and terrestrial sub-tropical forest, where we study both legacy and emerging contaminants.
