Submission of master's thesis spring 2020

Due to the ongoing situation with the coronavirus, we have implemented new guidelines regarding submission of master theses in the spring semester 2020.

The final exam consists of the submission and assessment of the research report, and a public presentation.

Preparation for the master's exam

Before you can register for the master's exam the following must be done:

  • You have to pay the semester fee and be registered for the current semester
  • Theoretical curriculum should generally be completed and passed in the semester prior to the semester in which you finish your master's thesis.

Your thesis must be submitted in two separate ways before the deadline:

  1. Upload the thesis in Studentweb.
  2. Hand in the thesis in Inspera

You don't need to hand in the thesis to Reprosentralen for printing, but you can if you want to. When you send in your thesis for printing, you must include the following codes:

  1. Budget code (tiltakskode): 649003

  2. Location code (stedskode): 150500

There is much to remember in relation to submission of your thesis and the conclusion of your studies. If you are registered correctly in Studentweb, you will receive a description by email before submitting.  It is the responsibility of the student to ensure this is in order.

Master presentations in Zoom

NB! Master presentations in spring 2020, will be held over Zoom. Read the procedures for digital exam and master presentations at UiO
