Vasileios Mavroeidis is a Scientist and Professor of Cybersecurity specializing in security automation and orchestration, and cyber threat intelligence representation, reasoning, and sharing. In addition, he is part of the ad hoc working group on Cyber Threat Landscapes and the Cybersecurity Playbooks task force of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA). Vasileios is actively involved in European (e.g., Horizon Europe, Connecting Europe Facility, and European Defense Fund) and national cybersecurity research and innovation projects. He has authored numerous scientific papers and technical reports contributing to the body of knowledge and is continuously working on cybersecurity standardization efforts. Since 2017 he has been the primary representative of UiO at the OASIS standards development organization.
