Medical Implant Wireless MICS Communication

Our group has already experience with using the near field communication (NFC) standard for wireless communication with sensory implants. This project pursues the implementation of such a system with a different communication standard that is able to communicate accross longer distances through the body and is better suited for implants deeper inside the body: the MICS standard. In a first iteration such a system shall most likely be implemented as an embedded system, or some components for such a system can be implemented as ASIC modules.
