Environmental Science

The Environmental Science Section contribute to finding solutions to society's environmental challenges. We use methods from relevant fields of expertise to understand and solve problems related to pollution, metal extraction, etc., as well as to better understand the dynamics of today's environment.

The section for environmental chemistry consists of Atmospheric chemistry and Nuclear chemistry. A third group, Environmental chemistry (soil and water), is currently inactive due to the personel situation. Find more information about each group in the menu to the left.

The section for environmental sciences is an integral member of Center for Biogeochemistry in the Antropocene (CBA) at the Faculty for Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
