RECX is a national infrastructure for X-ray diffraction, scattering and imaging. RECX has lab nodes at the University in Oslo (UiO) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. The official opening was a seminar of two parts, where the first part was a formal opening of the infrastructure with presentations by UiO, NTNU and the Norwegian Research Council. The second part of the seminar was a tour of the lab with emphasis on presenting the instruments and giving the participants a view of how the instruments can be used.
Attending the seminar was representatives from several Norwegian universities; potential industrial partners; the Norwegian Research Council; the Ministry of Education and Research; and interested students.
