Sign up for our DEEP Writing with Results course within 10 January 2021. It will take place each Tuesday for 6 weeks from the 2 February 2021. Whether you are planning an article, or you already have a first draft, this is a course for you!

The University of Tromsø offers the intensive course GEO-8131 Deformation processes (5 ECTS credits).
Registration deadline for the course is: 1 December 2020.
Spring 2021 we will offer an intensive DEEP course (5 ECTS) on Heat transfer between rock units. We will come back with further details in early 2021, but please register your interest if you attend to follow the course.

Computer programming is a core skill for geophysicists. The overall goal of GEOV350 is to provide the students with a good understanding of computational geodynamics. The course will be taught one week in May 2021 if they get enough participants, so please register your interest within 15 December 2020 if you wish to take the course!
In May 2021 we hope to offer an intensive DEEP course (5 ECTS) on Mineralogy of planetary surfaces and biosignatures. We will come back with further details, but you can register your interest through our online form.

DEEP welcomes all members to the fourth DEEP General Assembly 9 - 12 June 2021. The assembly will focus on the theme Early Earth and be held at Lysebu in Oslo. We are organizing a field trip to explore the spectacular late Paleozoic and Precambrian geology of southern Norway on the last day.
