Academic interests
My current experience is based on cell biology and molecular research with a special focus on mitochondrial function and energy metabolism.
In November 2020 I had the opportunity to join Muscle Research Group with the project: "Development of a 3D cell-model of myotubes as a useful tool to study the effects of n-3 fatty acids to counteract obesity and improve muscle functions".
Our aim will be to improve the knowledge of dietary supplements on molecular mechanisms that are central for lipid conversion, energy metabolism, thermogenesis, and muscle protein turnover.
