The aims of the seminar series are to:
- develop your professional competencies
- support you in achieving your goals with your master studies
- meet your peers
- keep you on track to deliver a great thesis!
Along your master's journey, we will cover topics such as literature search, scientific writing, research data management, presentation strategies, project planning, AI use, and more. The seminars will consist of a combination of lectures, activities, discussions, invited speakers/panels, and socializing.
In this first semester workshop, you will learn what it means to do a research project, be guided through the planning process for your masters thesis, and familiarize yourself with key concepts in (scientific) project management, including the Data Management Plan, that you will apply over the next two years and beyond. We offer motivation, information, and food (if you register)!
