Dear 4th semester master students!

You have to finish your Master thesis, and need a final support or inspiration? This session will help!

This is the fourth of a seminar series for Geoscience master students given by the Department of Geosciences and the Science Library. The series run parallel with your master studies over the course of four semesters.

The aims of the seminars are to i) develop your professional competences ii) support you in achieving your goals with your master studies iii) inspire and support you in carrying out your research and iv) to meet your peers.

The seminars will include hands-on practices, discussions, invited lecturers, social activities, help desks and more.

My Presentation AB123C - a tool to plan and give a great scientific talk, since you will have to present your thesis by Karoline Moe

Presenting your Master: presentation tips and exercise with Anna Kathinka Dalland Evans

- What do the sensors look for in your Master thesis when deciding on a grade? by Prof. Terje Koren Berntsen

- Your final timetable

We will work on your Discussion, probably the most important part of your thesis.

 

During this session, we will have refreshments provided by the Department of Geosciences.

The seminar includes breaks, time for discussions and hands-on practices! 

Please, if it’s possible, bring your laptop and your thesis.
